The GRFP is NSF's flagship award for distinguished graduate students. This award was based on a proposal for novel way of integrating memory and processing onto a single chip.
DAAD: German Academic Exchange Service Fello
DAAD is German, government-funded organization which supports international study and co-operation between Germany and students from other countries. Jon worked at the University of Bremen's Institute for Solid State Physics.
Irwin Jacobs Family Fellow
The Irwin Jacobs Family Fellowship recognizes competitive graduate students in engineering. Irwin Jacobs is a Cornell graduate and the founder of Qualcomm.
